1 Watt Solar Panel
how do i make my own Solar Pannels?
i'm currently sorting through thousands of pages of internet material on this subject so please don't just say search the web.

but i'm looking for something more efficient than than a 1/4 watt system.
Since you mention 1/4 watt, I assume that you mean Solar Electric Panels. By the way, I think the kind of cuprous oxide panel in that example is more like 1/4 milliwatt.
I know of no way for a consumer to make their own panels, other than buying individual Solar Cells, and wiring them together. And even this approach generally doesn't result in a product that performs as well, or lasts very long. A commercial panel is generally warranted for 25 years - it takes a lot to build something that will last that long in the sun, rain, and snow.
