Simple Solar Panel

does a 90 watt Solar Panel produce 90 watts per hour &?
Concerning Solar Panels does a 90 Watt Solar Panel produce 90 watts per hour? During sunlight hours I think I know that part of it. And let us just say I need 50kw per hour KWH correct? How many of the 90 watt panel would one need. Is there a simple formula that someone could tell me how to calculate this?
Sorry if these questions may seem stupid or perhaps they do not.
Thanks in advance for your help
Vince
I think you are a bit confused by the units.
A 90 watt panel produces 90 joules per second.
1 KWH is a unit of energy – 1000 watts for one hour (3600 seconds) which is 3.6 mega joules.
If you need 50kw (50,000 watts) from your panels, you need 50,000/90 = 556 90 watt panels.
I hope this helps.
I don’t think you really need 50kw. Are you powering a small village?
