Aircraft Skin a Solar Panel?
I saw on a Discovery Channel show that they were developing this type of paint, that has characteristics of a solar panel, and can turn sunlight into energy. Could this be put on an aircraft, and create some type of hybrid?
not yet, but perhaps one day it could supply electricity to an aircraft. Solar Energy panels, cells, and paint are going to have to get far more efficient though before it happens.
