While the United States' very limited exploitation of green-energy technology has provided a few thousand manufacturing jobs in a few rust belt cities, most post-industrial U.S. cities have not experienced any benefit from the enormous job-creation potential/wealth-creation potential of this sector -- which will surely provide the impetus for the next industrial revolution.
