Solarpanels
A simple math solving,for nørds?

Hi 1 kilo wat costs 53 australien cents and we pay 533.896407 Australian dollars so if i devide that it gives: about 10 so we use 10 kilowats each month. and 1.4 kilowats a day (Wait something went wrong with my math) Do you think i should invest on some windmills and solarpanels so it gives 1,4 kilowats, 1400 wats a day to earn some big pocket money

could someone please help me out here im only 14 and did not bother to check after

10 p best a

I think you’d better check your division, cos I think you use a bit more than 1000kW when you divide 533.896407 / 0.53

If your Solar Panels give 1.4kW per day they would save you 74.2 cents per day. ($22/month)

I know that it probably USED to be considered big pocket money, but I think you might want to reconsider the financial implications of your scheme. If they didn’t cost very much, perhaps you could use them.

If they cost a lot, you wouldn’t want to use them just purely to make money.

Perhaps you might want to consider an environmental argument, or perhaps rework the figures with bigger solar panels.

Or maybe you should just hook your bicycle up to a generator and pedal your way to earn pocket money!

:-)
